District Strategic Planning Community Feedback Survey

As part of the Columbia County School District's Strategic Planning Improvement process, a community feedback survey is available now through September 28, seeking public input. All stakeholders are encouraged and welcome to complete the survey and provide valuable feedback to assist in the school district's planning for student success over the next five years!

LHS Softball Spirit Night at EL REY!

Come to El Rey on Wednesday, Sept. 29th anytime from 11:00 am - 9:30 pm to eat and a portion of the sales will be donated to the LHS Softball Team! Please come out and enjoy the delicious food and support the LHS Softball Program at the same time!

AP Testing Requests- Click here for form.

We need to know student intentions regarding AP Exams. If you are in an AP class, please remember to complete the Google Form with your requests. Thank you.

Ring Ceremony - Oct. 4th at 6pm

The Ring Ceremony will take place in the LHS Auditorium. This is for Juniors who have ordered a ring. Please RSVP in the Guidance Office.

ACT and The College Board Offer Fee Waivers

The ACT (American College Testing) and The College Board (SAT, PSAT) offer fee waivers to reduce the cost of the ACT, SAT, and PSAT exams for students from families who qualify under the criteria listed below. Qualifying students should speak with their counselor about fee waivers for these examinations.
The College Board also offers a reduced fee exam for students taking the Advanced Placement (AP) exams each May. The criteria for the reduced exam fee are the same as the criteria for fee waivers (listed below). Qualifying students who plan to take AP exams should speak with their counselor and the AP Testing Coordinator for their school to ensure they are listed on the schools’ records as qualifying for the exam at a reduced fee.

School Bus Delays Expected

Parents, please expect school bus delays up to an hour each day as the Columbia County School District Transportation Department continues to adjust to temporary staffing issues as a result of COVID-related absences.
